I have a 5d2 and 5d3 and wanted to upgrade my 5d2, the question was should I buy another 5d3 (which I love!) or should I buy the 5d4? The price difference in the UK was around £1200.
In the end I bought the 5d4 and wow what a camera! As a wedding photographer I welcomed the improved ISO performance for low light church work (at least 1+ stop better than the 5d3); I have shot at ISO 12500 in some poorly lit churches and whilst technically not the best images, they are still very usable especially when processed with Topaz DeNoise.
Other improvements over my 5d2 which this is replacing (like Manual Mode WITH "Auto ISO") all add up to a full frame body which makes my work as a wedding photographer so much easier. Is this camera worth the high £££ - Yes
